Mobile service calls

We are happy to provide a mobile service call to anywhere in the Bay Area: Fee is dependent on mileage and time of requested service.

We can send a mobile technician out for the majority of services: we recommend larger/longer term repairs be brought back to the shop to minimize our destination fees.

We will happily do DOT or BIT Inspections at your yard/lot : by request.

Bit = ”Biennial Inspection of terminals”

This is required by California to be performed every 90 days
Terminal inspections have been conducted by the CHP since 1965 as a tool to determine motor carriers are complying with Motor Carrier Safety regulations on an on-going basis, particularly with regard to the legal requirement to maintain commercial motor vehicles according to a scheduled maintenance (preventive maintenance) program.
California Highway Patrol (C.H.P.) Basic Inspection of Terminals (B.I.T.) are required on all Commercial Motor Vehicles (C.M.V.) with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (G.V.R.W.) of more than 10,001 pounds every 90 days. – Section 34501.12 of the California Vehicle Code
